Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Yo San UniversityWith one of the finest and most academically rigorous training programs in the United States, Yo San University is a premier Traditional Chinese Medical school offering a fully-accredited Master’s degree program in acupuncture, herbology, tui na body work, and chi movement arts. The university also offers the first exclusively-focused doctoral specialization in Reproductive Medicine and Fertility.

Dr Mao Shing Ni and Dr Daoshing Ni represent the 38th generation of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners. Their father, Hua-Ching Ni, brought his family and their legacy of healing to the United States, where he and his sons founded Yo San University of Traditional Chinese medicine in 1989. Rooted in 5,000 years of practice and successful application, this medicine has survived the test of time and continues to inspire generations of healers and practitioners.

A complete traditional Chinese medical university bookstore with a selection of Eastern and Western medical books, acupuncture supplies and herbal supplements from a Chinese pharmacopeia passed down through 38 generations. Also available are tai chi and qi gong DVDs, meditation CDs to relieve stress, heal a broken heart or manage pain, books on Taoist teachings that nurture the spirit, and tools for positive living.

College of Tao

College of TaoThe College of Tao (COT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to disseminating the Ni family Taoist tradition of the Integral Way. This tradition includes a full range of Taoist self-cultivation movement arts (tai chi, qi gong, dao-in and ba gua), energetic healing arts, Taoist meditation, and audio courses in Chinese medicine, Chinese nutrition, and Western medicine. It also includes a correspondence course for embarking on the Way of the Tao. There are certification opportunities for becoming an Instructor of the movement arts, a Life Coach, or a Mentor of the Integral Way.
